I recently rented a unit secure space and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The facility is clean, secure, and well-maintained, which gave me peace of mind knowing my belongings were safe. Daniel was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Daniel, who walked me through the rental process with ease and answered all my questions. The pricing is fair, and I love the convenience of 24/7 access—it made moving in so much smoother. The location is also perfect, easy to get to, and the units are spacious and in great condition.

I haven’t had my storage for a year yet and they’re already doubled in price. It was originally $55 and now it’s $99. There are ants in my unit, the audacity of these people to up their price is crazy to me. I called customer service and spoke with a representative by the name of Zai and she was a very rude, very disrespectful and kept asking after every sentence was there anything else she could help with when in fact, she didn’t help me at all. I kept asking for a supervisor or manager and she refused , she said none were available. $99 is not even the price that is offered online to new customers. Not to mention all I see is drug addicts and homeless people around my units and not sure if my unit would be broke into.
Ohhhh and the times you can get to your unit is not very accessible. 7am-6pm is crazy, what about people that work and commute? Please be very cautious when renting from this place

As someone who understands how impactful and helpful reviews are—both to the consumer and the owner—I am compelled to share my unpleasant and unfortunate experience. Let me preface this review by stating that I have been a customer at SecureSpace Self Storage for the past three years, 2021-2024. I’ve rented up to three different spaces at the same time (#500, #202, #73) both for personal and business use. Today, that is no more. December will be my last month here. Here’s why:

Today after unloading my business equipment in my storage space #73 (which had no lighting by the way, so I had to use my phone light the entire time I was unloading), I realized it was a few minutes past closing time 6pm. So I quickly gathered my belongings to leave. I got to the code panel to exit at 6:08pm. The panel prompted the manager to assist in opening the gate; he arrived at 6:10pm. When he arrived he sarcastically and condescendingly asked if I had seen the sign that read it closes at 6pm. I confirmed and asked to be let out. He then said the following statement, “If you do this again, I will have to terminate your lease.” A baseless and inflammatory response. No questions asked, no customer care, no relational data collected. Only assumptions, disrespect, and sarcasm.

Since when is threatening a customer and lack of empathy and courtesy thereof reflective of effective interpersonal managerial communication skills and customer service? Whoever this manager was, clearly lacked respect—something that can’t be bought. Very frustrating, disappointing, and unfortunate.
