I would not ever use this company. They Lost my first generator that was supposed to be being shipped and only delivered the one wheel kit for the generator and that's after they Misrouted it So then I called the manufacturer. The generator because this company refused to help me They sent me another generator using the same company. And they misrouted my generator again. I have been trying to get my generator to me since july tenth, and today is july twenty sixth It's been over a hundred degrees for the last two weeks. And I have no way to keep my home cool for the children.Because I need the generator I have explained this to them repeatedly. And it seems like they just do not care Every time I Ask to speak to a supervisor I get told we'll direct you to that department. And then I don't get a phone call To make matters worse, I have been in constant communication with them. It's through this entire thing and I continue to get nowhere So if you could find somebody else to ship your things that you need I would recommend you going with someone else

THIS IS WHY YOUR PACKAGES DON'T GET DELIVERED IN THE REDDING AREA!!

Do not use this company! Do not work for this company!
There's a manager/owner Steve who runs OnTrac's packages through a subcontracted company.
He lies to his drivers. Has them pay for parts on THEIR vehicles, takes the receipts and says the employee will be reimbursed.
Same with the fuel "reimbursement".

3 months of lies that the driver will get the fuel costs refunded immediately. ( And they take the receipts? )

Right before Christmas, our family is out of $1000 in fuel and parts.

Now I know why the reviews are low

UPDATE: MONTHS LATER, WAGES WERE NOT PAID AND PHONE NUMBERS BLOCKED. HAD TO OPEN LABOR BOARD CLAIM

The driver threw my package like 25 feet. It slammed into my front door. Wow. I got it on video. I hope this guy gets fired.

I wish I could give them a No star. I’ve had two packages that were supposed to be delivered by them, they mark package delivered and never even show up,
I have proof on my cameras. Then the packages mysteriously go missing when I call the office to report it. Worst shipping service I’ve ever experienced.

My package was received by the Redding facility on 12/19/21, set to be delivered on 12/20/21. After waiting over a week there was still no package, the only updates made were a daily claim of delays. On 12/30/21 I received an update from OnTrac claiming my package was delivered, and better yet it had been supposedly delivered on 12/20/21! I own a Ring which gets footage everyday of my driveway, as well as the front door, an OnTrac delivery was never once made to my home. Calling the 1-800 customer service number is even more of a joke. They claimed to open an investigation with the driver to get an answer. After following up the investigation claim a week later I was told that, “The supervisor at the Redding facility marks that the package was lost after being delivered.” This supervisor also claimed they had a driver sent to my house to help me find the “lost” package! Now not only is my package lost after being at the Redding facility for over 10 days, the supervisor is also lying claiming it was delivered AND that they helped me look for the lost package. Neither of these actions ever transpired!!! I understand losing a package accidentally on the wrong truck, or weather delays, but blatant lying is irreparable. Horrible customer service and complete lack of decency! I wish as consumers we had the option to not allow such a sham of a business to be able to handle our packages.

Horrible delivery company they leave packages literally right next to the highway we have a nice 1/2 paved and half gravel driveway the email says left package behind the gate they don’t leave the package behind gate or anywhere near it They leave it by a tree stump literally 15 feet from a major highway and the packages get stolen. They can’t even drive slightly off the road to actually put it behind the gate like say they do, our driveway is literally at a turn out lane of the highway so completely safe to pull off the road plenty of room to turn around. No reason package Hass to be left right next to the road where it gets stolen. I guess somebody else will enjoy our Christmas presents and judging by the rest of their one star reviews. Clearly, just a bad delivery company.

Made a purchase from Walmart.com. OnTrac marked it as delivered to my front door but the package was never delivered to my location. After several attempts to track the package, I was advised that a driver “returned to conduct a search at the delivery location,” however they never did. My package is still missing and I was referred to contact the vendor, which I had already done. I had asked the customer service rep at Walmart to send it via a different carrier but she informed me that wasn’t an option available to her. My replacement package was due to arrive today and guess what… no sign of it. Someone needs to put these guys out of business. There is clearly something shady going on here as many of the reviews reference the same experience.

Redding CA facility….They have had my package since Nov 18th and today is Dec 1st. The delivery date keeps getting pushed out. I am not happy with this kind of service where you sit on my package for 2 weeks.
And as we speak it was pushed out again to now Dec 2nd. This is on going every day. I called the 800 number many times and relayed I want to personally pick it up. I was told I could not do so until the package gets pulled and someone would call me in 11 hours. Each time I called the person could not answer me if the 11 hours starts now even though the facility is closed for the night or would the 11 hours begin when the doors open and someone see’s the pick up request. Very frustrated and will let the company I ordered from know I will make no more purchases so long as they continue to use OnTrac
…Update…
After much on going time spent trying to find my package, getting no where with OnTrac’s customer service and no calls as promised, I went to the warehouse looking for help. I found an employee and she called the warehouse manager who oddly without looking in his system seemed to remember my package from 15 days ago out of thousands of packages ran thru his warehouse? He claimed something was spilled on the label making the ship to unreadable. When I asked where the package was now (thinking probably quarantined) I was told it was lost. Wait it had a damaged label unreadable and now its lost? Which is it? Damaged label or lost? Odd how quickly this guy off the top of his head was able to remember a package from 18 days ago and contradicting himself sure makes me think it was stolen….Convince me different. Especially when he hurriedly brushed me off saying he could not offer any further assistance. Wow ok, one minute this guy has an amazing memory and when I questioned his contradictions of damaged label to lost package and warehouse practices, he went from being extremely friendly and helpful to a rushed attitude like the warehouse was on fire as he walked away.
I called the company my order was placed with and most all items I ordered are out of stock with no idea when their inventory will be replaced. I was provided a refund and now have to rethink and shop for 6 people who’s gifts vanished into thin air. So close to Christmas, the street and online stores are slim picking adding to my frustration that OnTrac employees caused. The confused named damaged/lost package was quite a score for someone.
I would not give even a 1 star but one cannot post unless selecting min 1 star
Odd, after reading the many reviews there seems to be many missing packages trusted to your care OnTrac.
