In the office, there's an older lady that works there, not sure of her name, she's just awful with the customers. I feel that if you're going to have a job working with the public, you should have manners and be polite and understanding. Not put down people and be a smart ass.

I just finished replacing the 7 year old anode in my hot water heater last week and replaced it with one of those electronic ones guaranteed to last 20 years, however, I was shocked and very happy to see my old anode still had about 1 foot left of a 42 inch long rod. Supposedly they only last 5 years. If that is the case then OUA is to be highly commended for treating our water so well that the anodes last almost twice as long as they should with a standard anode. Thanks so much for doing a fantastic job on our water.

These people are so ignorant! They do not care about the customers at all! They never knock on the door or anything before they turn ur water off! And I was even told if the person did think I was being nice enough then she would not put the order in for them to fix the water even after oaying them!

No BUMP in road signs as required by OSHA or plates installed for torn up road infront of the new station being put in off SW 24th. Caused my 3yr old son to nearly bite the tip of his tongue off AT BELOW POSTED SPEED. Not to sure yet if your going to hear from an attorney or not depends if my son is inconvenienced or not by his injury.

Chris is incredible! He was out in my neighborhood working on getting our water turned on as they were fixing something. I accidentally got locked out of the house when my 18 month old locked the door behind me when I stepped out for a second. I called the sheriff's department and tjey said it wasn't an emergency and that they don't help in these cases. I couldn't get ahold of a locksmith and was terrified of my son getting hurt while I was outside. Chris saw me in need of helped and got me inside in 5 minutes!!! He truly goes above and beyond! I don't know what I would have done without him!!!

am very pleased with the OUA of Okeechobee. Was granted an extension based off my water bill and am in desperate need. Thank you OUA for being compassionate in my families time of need. Will most definitely recommend you, thank you OUA.

it surprises me how you require a deposit which im ok with, but placed in a non interest account is beyon me. Im sure you have it in acct that you are drawing interest on. theres was a class action law suit in Tallahassee Years ago where the company required a deposit also and placed it in a non interest acct and the class action law suit required them to pay all the customers the interest that was accumulated durning the time the monies were in the account. Okeechobee utilities does not rate the highest water provider in Florida. My opinion one of the lowest. Water ither smells like bleach or taste very fishy.
