First time attending a event. Property was clean and good police presence. Food sucked but I get it .the property not used often and food was bought in from outside vendors. Overall great experience.

Update: we are at Trash the Classics car show. 10/5/24 & 10/6/24
AWESOME car show! Lots of food trucks & craft vendors & live music.

We went to YeeHaw Bluegrass Festival. It was a fun afternoon/evening of Bluegrass & Country Music. Hope to be back tomorrow for another day of good music. Pretty decent food trucks there today. And plenty of parking.

This was our family’s first rodeo, and we absolutely loved it! The celebration of Americana, patriotism, and faith was truly inspiring. We were especially moved by the prayers for the competitors and the moments of collective prayer when someone got hurt. The evening was filled with excitement and energy, and we can’t wait to return!

However, the sound system left much to be desired. It felt like the speakers were blown, and the attempt to make up for it by turning up the volume only made the rattling worse. As a result, it was difficult to understand the announcer most of the time. Fixing the sound system would make this amazing experience even better!

I am finding myself 'falling in love' with Okeechobee. From County Fairs, Rodeos to Classic Car Shows, Hot Rod Car Shows to Boat Shows, Motorcycle and Truck Shows complete with all terrain toys ... International Fishing Competitions, Hunting, Air Boats, even Gambling. If you seek Country Outdoor Living and Sports, Farm Fresh Beef, Milk, Chicken ... this is 'the place' ... totally unassuming and purely "America" at its very best !!! And the area fairs offer it all ... including art and crafts to flea markets. Wholesome fun at its best.
