Doing a remodeling is always challenging, but if you have Guyton by your side the journey could be a little bit easier. He is very flexible, great to work with and has amazing capability of listening and understanding your vision; he will help you achieve the best use of the space and bring your idea to reality. Just be patient, it might take longer than you anticipated but the result will be satisfying,

STAY AWAY!! The owner is one of the most unprofessional businessmen i’ve ever met. Not only is the guy extremely disrespectful, but also is very unorganized with his designs and installation. I strongly recommend you spend the extra $ and buy your kitchen elsewhere. He messed up his order and then is utterly disrespectful when it’s his own fault.

I had a disappointing experience with Guyton Industries LLC. Their communication was poor, and it felt like they didn’t prioritize their customers. The quality of the work didn’t meet my expectations, and the process was more stressful than it needed to be. I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience - the owners were quite unprofessional and rude.

Before the “not a customer” comment comes, I was one and I’m sure the other reviews are too.

Guyton’s communication and detail was great leading up to the job (new home construction), but shortly after it got bad. Really bad.

Subs left unpaid, liens threatened to be filed on my property, lied about payments to subs, failure to identify issues for inspections, ordered the wrong trusses, inconsistencies in stories all the time, his accountant/wife is a mess with documents, always a blunder of confusion at every step of the way.

I have an office on the construction site, I heard of everything and every issue the subs faced when dealing with Guyton.

When it came to budgeting, it seems to me, he was using my money to float other costs of his and hoping it would come back before it was due. His accounting practices were seemingly non existent. It took him a week to show me copies of what he claims to had paid subs, which, I later found weren’t paid out. Guyton had no idea how much money I actually sent him when I asked, yet kept demanding more.

“Oh he’s sick, oh he’s traveling, oh this, oh that.”

Luckily, I am meticulously detailed.

One of his subs ran off with some money and insisted that I be responsible for it. Another sub he claimed to have paid tens of thousands of dollars that I later found, he hadn’t. On his “creative book keeping” he listed another one of his companies as the paid entity, not the sub LOL.

He had trades working on my project who weren’t listed on the permit, with no documentation between him or the sub.

Total damages excluding legal fees, estimated to exceed $75,000.

Not to mention, our timeline is entirely messed up.

If there is one thing that speaks volumes, after removing Guyton from the job, not a single sub left. Not one.
