my son , I called for updates no calls retrned until sat 7'30am mom pick me up loves a gas station in the middle of nowhere we jumped in the car drove as fast we could 165 miles each way when we finally found mgr of loves think its terrible left with no phóne no money 8n many case he said they work yoú so hard
the students are really prisoners from many jails his big brother served 30 yrs in jail walked around w knife. brainwasher, control freaks too any parent out there dont do ít

I've seen faith farm and if you wish for your child to get better and grow a better relationship with God while also growing and becoming ready to become and active contributing member to society this is not the place to go. They claim they believe in God but I did not feel his spirit during church service. The pastors clearly are not led by God but by their own will and understanding. What they say is considered law, when the word should be considered law. Most members are in and out and the only success stories come from those who never left the bubble of faith farm. Also its important to note that the education level of the members is low and there are a lot of holes in their logic when it comes to how they teach. They use double speak and expect program members to be blindly obedient. If your child is there I hope they get the help they need.

Faith Farm is a life saver, if the participant is willing to accept sobriety and all that comes with it. My son was court ordered to go here and it has changed his life. Again I will say this, you have to want to be sober and accept how they will keep you that way. Pastor Rick, Lee, heck too many to mention, are loving caring people. I would HIGHLY recommend Faith Farm to anyone who has tried all the other ways to stay sober and failed. I have seen not only my son but others who have had life changing experiences. This place is not a Country Club to go hang your hat at and "do your time" it is hard work and dedication in truly wanting a NEW life. Yes you have to work NOTHING is for free, Yes you have to bunk with others, it is Free and you're not on the street! Yes it is Religious, if you don't have religion of any kind, please seek it. God will save those who want to be saved, if you are ready please call Faith Farm. God Bless you!

I attended Faith Farm for a short period of time in 2016. Coming from a non-religious background I knew this would be a very challenging experience. I came on my own without anyone making me. The farm that was initially shown to my family when we came to look at it was not at all the farm the residents saw. This place is a labor camp using Christianity as a cover. Faith Farm had me sign paperwork saying they would act as my agent in order to claim "food stamps" (which I had never used before). The room everyone sleeps in is basically a large hanger with large fans and at least 75 beds in it. We attended a church service a couple times a week, during my first service they asked who was willing to accept Jesus Christ as their savior. At the time I was very uncomfortable and didn't raise my hand. A few days later I was kicked out for not being receptive to their practices. They allowed me a call to my family then they took me to a bus stop where they left me with no phone, no money, no hope. My mother and I looked on sites like this to make our decision on if I wanted to go. Please think twice before going to Faith Farm in Okeechobee

A family member of mine went here to get help and was kicked out for saying it was cult like. They make you write 3 bad things weekly about your bunk mates. And if you interpret the Bible differently than them you are wrong! This is supposed to be a place to find god and learn how to live a clean life. I do not recommend this place to anyone! Please find a better place to be accepted!

My fiancée went here and he had an awful experience. He was constantly ridiculed, insulted, and judged on a daily basis. Threw the letters I sent him down in front of his face when all I ever did was encourage him. Was even told he had to break up with me or leave. Apparently they don’t like you to email or ask questions either about their rules or how someone is progressing in rehab. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and shocked. Would not recommend Faith Farms for rehab. It may work perfect for some people, but it didn’t for him. That’s just my opinion. Faith Farms is more like a labor camp, working in fields all days lifting furniture that could weigh hundred to several hundred pounds. I truly believe God would be ashamed. I would rather go somewhere where I’m actually treated like a human being.

This place is more than just a rehab, it's a chance at a new life. I'd been to detox after detox and after twenty years of addiction and the 12 step programs who would've known that I was missing the only step I really needed; surrendering my life to Jesus Christ! After I left I have never relapsed even once. I've gotten married, we've had a beautiful baby boy and now I help run a homeless shelter pulling others out from the very pit I was stuck in almost half my life. There really is freedom in Jesus and Faith Farm Okeechobee facilitated me finding it and the staff there taught me how to use the tools I desperately needed to keep it. I am a life that was changed!
