My husband and I had hired out some contractors to build our deck. Long story short we ended up firing them because they were not following code after a few chances and calling them out on their mistakes. When the inspector came to tell us where to start with the deck he said that we need an engineer to approve the attachment to the house. I just did a google search for engineers and went down the list and started calling EVERYONE!!! Kirk was the ONLY one that answered me that night around 3pm on a Friday. And boy was I happy that he answered!! Not only was he an engineer but a legal engineer at that. Exactly what we needed! Kirk was patient with us, sooooo knowledgeable about our project and what we needed to do and where to start and offered legal advice when we needed it. This project went on for a couple months because it was just my husband and neighbor working on it. But, through the entire process Kirk was there. EVERY TIME we called he answered!! EVERY TIME I wanted to blow up on the contractors that we were still battling with Kirk offered advice. Kirk helped us pass our inspection with flying colors!!! I would recommend Kirk to everyone and anyone who needs an engineer! You don't find many people these days so genuine and nice. He is definitely one of a kind!!!
