We were fortunate to work with Dan who was the architect that designed a completely new 3400 SF 5 bedroom home for us. We moved in last April and we are very pleased with the outcome. A new house build is a process that Dan knows well, and is very good at listening to the owner's needs up front before the house design starts. Once the space needs are identified, Dan uses his considerable skills at incorporating our needs and design objectives into his creation of a modern, spectacular home. I am glad that we trusted Dan with his entire vision and design for both the outside and inside. I also need to point out that Dan was not only the architect, but also our guide through the maze of approvals needed at the municipal level. He also was a great reference for proven contractors that he had good experiences with in prior builds. Our build was likely one of the most challenging because our original home was destroyed in a fire, in California, in a fully developed area. So we had to endure all of the regulations for demo, soils testing, gas and oil testing, plan design approval, Title 24, and on and on. Dan was a master at the delicate balance of being tenacious over the long hall, timely in providing needed work results and having a patient upbeat professionalism is dealing with all parties involved. We seamlessly moved from architect design to structural engineering and title 24 using his network. We looked at several general contractors and landscape architects and builders but ended up using ones that he recommended. Don't get me wrong. Building a house is an extremely difficult, long, and expensive process. But given our circumstances, Dan Dascanio was central to the success that we achieved and the satisfaction we have with our beautiful, new home.

Daniel designed our custom home very beautifully, elegant and modern design, His designs are very detailed, covers all aspects of functional, aesthetics and economics for a great custom home. He response to each and every inquiry from his clients and incorporates all requests professionally. He also prepared detail design and material specifications which greatly help new owners to monitor the progress with contractors. He also gets design reviewed and approved with city in expedited manners. We get lots of complements from our friends and family and we have at least 5-10 people stop by in front of house to review the frontage of house design. Splendid. Excellent job.

We hired Dan to design our 9200 sf custom home and couldn't be happier with the results. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient as he walked us through each step of the process. Dan really listened to our ideas and provided us with multiple options to help us decide what to do. I believe his interactions with our HOA architectural board and the city always went well because of his professional and easy going manner. Our builder told us that Dan's architectural plans are very clear and detailed, which makes building from his plans much easier. He has designed many homes in our gated community because of 'word of mouth' recommendations. That is how we heard of him also. We would highly recommend Dan to anyone without hesitation.

I feel very fortunate to have found Daniel as the architect on my ADU. Permits were issued without any corrections. Plans are up to current codes and pass all inspections.
