This was my first time here to experience the frog jumping contest. I had a blast as it was so different and interesting. The fair itself is small and very country like, with many exhibits, food vendors and animals. All the people I spoke with were very nice and friendly.

These Fairgrounds I have been going to since I as a child. Then when I turned 16 my cousin took me to Mountain Aire.That was a fun venue to go to concerts in the 80s.I would go every year after that until they stopped having it. They had several bands playing its was all day in the sun but it worth it. The 🐸 frog jumping contest is alot of fun.I was at the Fairgrounds last weekend for a Gem and Mineral show it happens the 3rd weekend of March each year. It is amazing seeing beautiful jewelry and so many things made out of rocks.They sale Gems and Minerals that are millions of years old.Here are a few that I bought over the years..

⚜️🚔🚔🚔As far as Security, there is plenty of Security and Police there; although, it’s such an amicable place that I don’t think Is need it. But it’s best to be safe and make everyone feel safer, so a big plus and a 5⭐️🚔🚔🚔⚜️

⚜️Really the people there seems like they are completely in their own world. Such a friendly environment, it’s really the place you wanna be at to have a great time either by yourself or with the whole family⚜️

⚜️There is plenty of Rides there, if you like some Adrenaline Rush, so wait no longer come on this way whatever place you might be at. I drove almost two hours just to come to this place and it was raining and the reason why I decided to come was because this Fair here is going on whether it Rains or Shines.⚜️

⚜️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to this Fair Most Definitely it’s such an amazing place that you will absolutely love it.

⚜️There’s so many good things there for Kids, Teenagers, and Adults, so yes I dare everyone to come and visit if you would wanna have an Amazingly good time.⚜️

Absolutely just attend event. Where else will you enjoy a wonderful fair, but also get to watch frog jumping. Also, great way to introduce a bit of literature to your young ones; my high schoolers didn't know who Mark Twain was.

A great experience. I specifically went for the Frog Jumping Finals. There was a huge crowd so you definitely want to get there at least an hour early. This competition is always on the third Sunday in May at 3:00 PM. There is plenty of parking but May have a considerable walk to the venue. Comfortable shoes, sunblock and a hat are a must. Try to sit near the center of the stands. The event is about two hours long. Each frog has 1 minute and the first three jumps are measured. It is a must see being part of the legacy of Mark Twain and the gold country.

Classic agriculture-focused county fair with modern rides and vendors. Known for their frog jumping competitions. Lots of indoor art and 4H exhibit areas to escape the heat. Farm animal exhibits include pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, cows, chickens, turkeys and more! Unusual terraced layout with lots of uphill walking.

Great Family Fair. Lots of fun activities for the whole family. Tons of shade for resting. The frog jumping is a fun sight if you have never experienced it.

We went to the fair on kids day. The first day they opened. Carnival was supposed to open at noon and it did I suppose. Problem was that the ticket booth had no tickets, wrist bands or change.
We stood in line in the sun for approximately 30 minutes. Then we finally buy our tickets and 3 of the rides were being worked on. Watching the disappointment on the kids faces was hard to take.
All in all we were thoroughly disappointed and will not be going back.
