I am out of propane AGAIN even though I am set up for auto delivery and they are able to monitor my tank remotely. The last time they delivered was over 6 months ago. I am also on autopay, and you can be sure they are charging me every month. The have $977 of mine in their pocket right now. I was out of town when the tank ran out and came home to no hot water and no ability to cook dinner. I called and they said they would send someone out to fill the tank the next day. Well, that is today and they never came. When I called again, they told me that they aren't doing deliveries in this area "at this moment." My husband missed a family event staying home to meet the service person (who never showed up). Now that I am looking at my online account, I see they started charging a credit card fee of $12+ per month for autopay back in the spring. These charges do not show on my statements. They are blatantly ripping people off. I am switching to JS West Monday morning. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

Worst dealer available in Amador County! Charge more for gas than a retailer like ACE Hardware. Charge more for tank rental than any other company in Amador County. Charge extra for a customer to receive a bill in the mail! Really, they want to charge you just to see your monthly bill so you can pay it?

We’ve been customers for 27years, with automatic bi yearly fill ups....well, all of a sudden we’re beginning to smell propane, never imagining we were nearly out... We checked our last bill, they hadn’t been here in 13 mos..Plus they continually charged us Top Dollar, when we were supposed to, under written agreement, purchase at a much lower price. They never informed us in any situation. I can’t believe we stayed with them at all. So much for loyalty.

Have been a customer for several years and I have absolutely hated it. We will order out when we're at 60% because often they don't come until weeks after you order. We have been stranded with an empty tank before and customer service will tell us "why did you wait so long to order?" We direct them to look at the call history on our account and it shows we called almost a month ago.

We want to get rid of them so bad.

I tried to get a hold of Amerigas in Jackson CA and “customer service” is telling me I should keep calling if I want a person from that location!!!! Don’t understand the logic behind this👎👎

We bought a property locally that had an Amerigas tank on it, we switched to JS West and didnt need the Amerigas tank. We called the same day JS West installed in April of 2022 to have them come pick it up, we never got any kind of confirmation that they were coming or when ect. It's still here a year and a half later, on top of that they are now trying to charge us for the tank. Ridiculous.

The 1 star reviews are real. First, they will lie to you if you ask them if they own the tank. Just bought a house but no one disclosed if I owned the tank or not but Amerigas said they did. Their technician told me they did not.
Secondly, be sure to have around 500 bucks in your account for at least 30 days because they will charge you without notifying you. No mail, no email, no call or text. I just logged in and they charged my account. Would have been nice to now. No receipt either.

Buyer beware!! Horrible customer service. They lied about the transition process when selling a home w gas in the tank. When I called them on it they admitted they gave me wrong information but told me oh well, too bad. So now I'm just out hundreds of dollars. Essentially they are stealing from customers and don't care. I asked the service rep to speak to her manager and she said "we don't do that". I asked for his name and she refused to tell me. What kinda business operates like that? I was on hold for over an hour. Stay away from Amerigas!!
