I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Self Tape DTLA! Not only is there state of the art video and lighting equipment, and multiple background choices, but JoVan’s coaching takes my self tapes to another level. He quickly grasps the scene content offering insightful notes for creating moments that set me apart and bring out all the layers to any character. He takes his time so I never feel rushed, and is encouraging and motivating so I can deliver my best to casting directors. It was my first time booking a session here with Javon and I am very happy with the outcome of my self tape. High quality video footage with great audio. I especially appreciate the ease and simplicity of booking the actual session. I was able to do everything online and receive email confirmations and important session information. I was hesitant to go to this location near downtown because I am use to these type of things being more centralized near Hollywood or the valley, but how lucky could I have been!

Best decision I made hands down! I have self taped maybe, 200 times in my career since 2019. Easily my best experience going to a self tape audition ever! He was hands on and care about me getting a good performance! He is more worried about you nailing the audition opposed to money!

This is my best experience at a self tape studio. The whole set up is incredibly professional. He makes you look SO GOOD! Seriously. Not only did he help coach me through the scenes, but he also helped me make my slate stand out. He was not afraid to be honest with me and tell me to do another take. He helped give ideas and directions for an amazing second take too. SERIOUSLY you should tape here. You should honestly buy the monthly membership because it is SO worth it!
