Small business but the owner has such great energy and ambition. He had just started his business and isnt infected with bad used car dealership habits. Bought a used 2015 GMC Yukon from this business. I was aware that they had purchased it from auction which wasn’t a problem. I was deployed at the time so my wife went in person to pick it up after I had found it on Autotrader. The pictures this business owner used were not the Yukon I bought. My wife doesn’t know what to look for when buying a used vehicle so we FaceTimed and she showed me everything.

First off the interior was disgusting. But the owner said he’d detail it for us before we picked it up. That didn’t happen. I’ve never pulled so much candy from door panels in my life after I cleaned the interior myself. Second thing I noticed was the front right tire was visibly more worn than the other 3. So I asked if it was aligned recently. The owner promised us he just changed the oil, had it aligned, and did the brakes. Now this is my first vehicle I’ve ever owned that had locking lug nuts on the rims, I didn’t notice them on FaceTime. But since we received the Yukon without the key for those lug nuts, it’s impossible the brakes were done because this business owner didn’t have the key. Also when I popped the hood after getting back from deployment, the oil in the picture was in the engine bay with a funnel just chillin. This Yukon takes 0w-20. That’s 10w-30 in the pic.

Now, my wife and I bought this Yukon cash. We could’ve easily bought one cash from a reputable dealership, but because Felix, the young just starting out business owner was trying to get his operation running, my wife and I decided to try and help out a small business owner who will not respond to my texts. Lesson learned. Do not buy anything from this guy without having a mechanic put it on a lift and inspect everything. I take part of the blame because I’m 35 and have bought many vehicles over the years. I should have waited until I was there in person. But because I knew we could get this right away and I needed something reliable to drive from Arizona to North Carolina quickly, I settled.

I wish this business well, I just hope that Felix will start being honest with his customers in the future and not take advantage of women or deployed armed service members. If I knew what I know now, I would have offered a much lower number for the truck.
